ONE ARMENIAN MAN IS WORTH 100 TURKS

On May 23, Rafael Hovhannisyan turned 20. He was recently awarded the Order of “Battle Cross” of 2nd degree. During the four-day war he shot down 3 enemy tanks.

SASHA HAD TO REACH HOME...

A soldier from the battlefield carried away his dead comrade. Is there a higher heroism in the war than this? It is the main duty of a soldier! Conscript, sergeant Tigran Hakhverdyan is awarded a medal “For Courage” for his feat.

56 SECONDS

Albert Ghazaryan in the finals of the OFS 8th championship had to fight with Azerbaijani Ruslan Muratazov. Albert entered the sports-hall with the flags of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh Republic, accompanied by well-known athletes, in the uniform of the national army.

REFLECTIONS FROM THE REAR AND THE FRONT LINE

On 6 April 2016 together with the LBCI Lebanese television journalists I arrived in Yerevan from Beirut. In the volunteers registration point in Nubarashen I witnessed that hundreds of young volunteers, middle-aged men, war veterans came, even the disabled. They were all brought here by the call of their homeland and blood, consciousness of responsibilities that they have to defend their homeland. And they came, joyful, as if they came to the wedding. Yes, they were going to the wedding of defense of the fatherland.

FEAT

Sergeant Robert Abajyan, by decree of the NKR President, was posthumously awarded the title “Hero of Artsakh” and awarded the “Golden Eagle”.

THIS IS AN ORDER

I always wanted to feel myself strong, exceptional. I myself asked to be transferred to the most dangerous position. When the enemy was shooting at me, I thought that the man must die beautifully. To live godly and honestly – this is also heroism. My father suffered a lot of hardship so his family will not be in need. I, like my father, like to reach heights myself and to fully enjoy the victory. There is no greater pride than self-esteem. The homeland gave me “Battle Cross”, as an order – infinitely rise and become stronger, to be useful to more people. My formula for happiness is – happiness is when you determine the fate of thousands, millions of people, and they bless you.

THE FACE OF COURAGE

We destroyed commandos with grenades. We went into the position, but could not keep it long, tanks moved on us. A few meters from us was the anti-tank unit. They hit six tanks. We returned to our position and from there continued to fight until the night of April 4. The enemy could not stand it, retreated. They had dozens of dead. They were tired. We won!
