On August 17, the international youth military-sports competition-gathering, “Union-2015: the descendants of Victory” was launched, which was attended by 500 participants from different countries of the CIS. Gathering is carried out under the patronage of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia with the assistance of the public movement “Valor of fatherland” and the Federation of Military wrestling “Rus”.

On August 18, in the military units of the armed forces with the solemnity was given the start of summer training phase. At solemn meetings the administrative board of Defense Ministry, Armed Forces, General Staff, headed by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan was present.
