“THE ARMENIAN ARMY – 23: BOOKS, STAMPS”

From January 10 to February 10 in the Scientific Library of the State Pedagogical University after Kh.Abovyan the exhibition “The Armenian army – 23: books, stamps” was held. 130 books about army construction, Artsakh war, published in the last 23 years, were exhibited.

Among the books there were: RA President, Hero of Artsakh Serge Sargsyan “Armenian army – 10”, 1st Minister of Defense, National Hero Vazgen Sargsyan “The test of the spirit” and dedicated to him “And time during Vazgen Sargsyan”, “Vazgen”, “Commander”, Minister of Defense, Hero of Artsakh, Colonel-General Seyran Ohanyan “Army of 20cent.”, “20-year-old chronicle of the Armenian army”.

Books dedicated to Artsakh war: encyclopedia “Artsakh liberation war”, 4 books devoted to the Hero of Artsakh Monteh Melkonian, book of the Hero of Artsakh Samvel Babayan “Victories, as they were” as well as two biographical books, which present the biographies of warriors-liberators Arthur, Peto, Meruzhan. Gegham etc., 5 volumes of Bakur Karapetyan “Collection of the Artsakh battle”, Andranik Arshakyan “Artsakh war: 1985-1992”, Hovhannes Armenakyan “I am one hit of your hand”, Anahit Chibukhchyan “The Return of David”, Melanya Petrosyants “Special Regiment”, Samvel Yeghiazaryan “The Devoted”, Senor Hasratyan “Defense regions of the army of defense in the major military operations of the Karabakh war”, Sirvard Mirzoyan “Martakert”, Mher Harutyunyan “Artsakh war and liberation of Shoushi”, Tigran Petrosyants “1000 Armenian generals, admirals”, “200 Armenian commanders”, collection “Suicide”, songbook “Walk, proud Armenians!”, stamps from the collection of Robert Hakopian.

Director of Scientific Library Tigran Petrosyants noted that this exhibition allows to represent to the public in an affordable manner realities of the Armenian army. For 30 days the exhibition was visited by 10 thousand people, including students, teachers, etc.
