SOLDIER AS A SYMBOL OF PURE LIFESTYLE

What might be forgiven for the actor of my age, is not excusable for a soldier of homeland. According to me the soldier should be the symbol of strength, health, pure lifestyle. I’m very happy that the Defense Ministry has started a marathon against smoking under the slogan “Army without smoking”. As we say – in a healthy body – healthy mind.

EACH SMOKER IS A DESERTER

They say that by the number of smokers we are in the third place in the world, 52% of the population smokes. When we smoke, we shorten the duration of our life, its quality, and yet the Lord gave us life so that we work, create, make our homeland better. I am deeply convinced, the one who smokes is a deserter since shortens his life voluntarily, shortens years of service to the Homeland.

Leonid was a supporter of a strong, disciplined army. Once one of the group members threw a cigarette butt into the grass. He friendly, but sharply said: “Why do you spoil the nature? The nature is clear, pure, it will not tolerate this butt, which does not rot”.

Our friend bent, took the butt and… put it in his pocket.
