RA DEFENSE SYSTEM REFORMING – A FACTOR OF STABILITY GUARANTEE

RA President Serge Sargsyan addressed the participants of the annual international forum “Dynamics of Regional Security in South Caucasus”:

“Armaments drive which implements Azerbaijan in the region, its warlike statements and Armenophobia propaganda on a very high state level, the last demonstration of which was the making hero from Azeri officer Safarov who killed with axe the sleeping Armenian officer, seriously threaten not only the security of Armenia but the whole South Caucasus. In this conditions Armenia is compelled to pay special attention to its defense system’s reforms and improvement. This factor would hold back Azerbaijan’s warlike claims and ensure stability in South Caucasus”.
