Public Council under the RA Minister of Defense, headed by its chairman, advisor to Defence Minister Gegham Harutyunyan, in the framework of the project “Pages of History and Culture” on March 26-27 undertook a trip of a large group of scientists, cultural figures to the military units of Artsakh.

Such trips are carried out since 2010 and have a very important, positive impact in the patriotic education of soldiers.

The group included: Director of the Institute of Literature of RA NAS, Dr. Vartan Devrikyan, Head of division of the Institute of History Ruben Sahakyan, Head of division of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Dr. Alexan Hakobyan, Professor of YSU History of Armenia Department Ashot Hayruni, PhDs Hakob Tadevosyan, Armen Soghoyan, Gurgen Vardanyan, Artsvi Bakhchinyan Vahram Karakhanian, intellectuals Avetik Ishkhanyan, Gagik Ginosyan, etc. They gave lectures in different military units.

In the town of Martuni the Easter event was organized, where on-site Gagik Ginosyan with local dance group and the assembled youth organized a presentation of Armenian dances.

For the delegation cultural visits to monastery complexes in Berdzor and Shushi were organized.
