In the framework of functions dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Armenian Army Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan visited the French University of Armenia on January 31st, met with the professors’ staff and students. Ambassador of France in Armenia Henri Reynaud was also present at the meeting.

The Defense Minister highly assessed the Armenian-French relations and mentioned that they have reached the understanding according to which the Armenian officers would pass retraining in France. According to the Minister the best university graduates including French University’s will get the possibility to use their knowledge and skills in the system of the Defense Ministry.

In the end of the meeting Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan awarded University Rector Joelle Le Morzellec with medal “For Military Cooperation”, some teachers were awarded with jubilee medal “RA Armed Forces: 20 years”.
