Dear generals, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, civil servants and special workers-employees!
I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of New Year and Christmas!
2015 was a busy year for our army, especially for those performing combat duty. I mean implemented by the enemy treacherous and despicable actions on Armenia-Azerbaijan state border and on the line of contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani forces. However, we also note that this tension simultaneously gave our fighters experience, and in general they became more strong and courageous.

Dear soldier, my good friend!
Again this year – 2015, we have traveled together, another year was added to our biography and the biography of our people. We were able to be close to you in a moment of grief, and in a moment of joy, have registered successes and shortcomings, proud of your victories, shared your worries and pains, became the documentary of your difficult, but glorious way. You finished the year with a victory, dear soldier!

Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! I wish our country progress, people – well-being, the military – peaceful service, the wounded – a speedy recovery!
I also congratulate my cadets and officers, I wish 2016 for us be a year of new achievements and victories!

Public Council at the RA Defense Minister with its diverse and bulk work constantly promotes effective interaction between society and the army. From year to year it becomes more and more tangible the involvement of the Council in the recruitment process, evidenced by the fivefold increase in application-complaints addressed to the Commission on applications-complaints from citizens.
On 1340 complaints 876 petitions were presented to the authorities on the basis of which 211 decisions on fitness of conscript to military service were reviewed. 34 application-complaints regarding legal issues and the family circumstances were satisfied.

After 2015 a new era begins – we need to move the issue of the Armenian Genocide from international recognition to the political and legal plane. We must achieve the adoption of the UN resolution on depriving of the motherland, and having the relevant article we can enter the International Court of Justice. And then the next century will be 100 years of retribution and victory, unlike the previous one, which was 100 years of recognition and struggle.
Genocide recognition process is completed, the era of retribution begins, to which we must prepare the entire nation…
