WEAPON IS A POWER IN BRAVE MAN’S HANDS

If there is a malfunctioning we quickly come to know about that and immediately eliminate it. I’d say also that our domestic arms production develops rapidly the last years, and our AF are enriched with arms, military technology and ammunition including modern ones.

PUBLIC COUNCIL REGISTERED IMPROVEMENT

Members of the Public Council adjacent to the Defense Minister headed by Gegham Harutyunyan visited some eastern frontier regiments from October 31 to November 4. G.Harutyunyan tells:
– The visit was introductory. On September 14 a new Public Council was formed, from 15 members 9 are new. Naturally, for their effective work it is essential to visit the regiments. We visited regiments, hospitals, met commanders, servicemen, saw their social-living conditions. By the way, there is improvement in this sphere. New quarters, bath-houses, WC and other objects have been brought into operation.

STUDENTS’ VISIT TO REGIMENT

In the framework of Abovyan State Pedagogical University’s 90th anniversary the Students Council’s members headed by Volodya Gasparyan and on the initiative of Psychology and Sociology Faculty Deputy Dean, c.p.s. Hakob Tadevosyan on November 10 visited one of the Tavush district’s frontier regiments. The students organized a cultural program for the servicemen. This visit was important and introductory for the students who study military pedagogy and psychology.

ONE PHOTO’S STORY

In the Internet I paid attention to one photo: an old woman hugs a young man in a military uniform. In the bottom it was written: “Azeri grandma and Armenian fighter”. I sent this photo through the net and asked people to give me some information about this photo. Istanbul University teacher Alber Keshish reacted. He told me that the soldier is his classmate – Sargis Hatspanyan, Artsakh war participant.
