We are in the southwestern border of the republic, in the frontier section of the military unit under the command of LT Col Harutyun Nalbandyan. Just a few years ago, there were short position combats. In some areas, the enemy attempted to conduct position-strengthening engineering works, but the Armenian forces derailed those plans.

The drill alarm roars sounds in the unit. A few seconds later, the troops stand in line. Tactical trainings are under way: the goal is to improve the skills of the personnel.

The Armed Forces work in many directions: not only skilled artillerymen, pilots, scouts serve in the military, but also skilled weaponry craftsmen, who repair weapons on daily basis to make them accurate and flawless.

The conscript is in process. The Aragatsotn Military Commissariat is really busy.

The heavy snowfall did not prevent the conscripts from the most remote communities of the southern and northern wings of the Kashatagh region – Kovsakan, Lernahovit and other settlements – to reach Berdzor and to submit to the Regional Military Commissariat ON time. Military Commissar Major Stepan Ohanjanyan is happy; the conscription is properly organized.
