In mid December in Matenadaran (Ancient Manuscripts Institute) new building’s conference-hall a conference on “The problems of new generation’s military-patriotic upbringing and ways to achieve it” was held. Ministers of defense, science and education, sports and youth, extreme situations as well as the head of RA Police took part in the Conference. Representatives of those offices presented reports. The results of works in this sphere during 2011 were discussed.
Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan mentioned: “For us it is not acceptable the point of view that army is the mirror of the society. We’ll try to differ from the society to lead it after us and with our example to eradicate those negative occurrences which happen in the society”.
In his turn Science and Education Minister said that today it is important to defend our nation’s value system from aggressive extreme assessments and judgments. “We shall not allow to sow distrust to the value system which our nation has”, – emphasized the Minister.
