THE SCHOOL MAKES ALL THE EFFORTS…

In recent years, ties between the school and the army strengthened further. Schools pay more attention to basic military training, working with military units of the community.

Director of the school after John Kirakosyan (former school after Dzerzhinsky) Anahit Khosrovyan says that in matters of military-patriotic education, BMT office equipment, property, even in making a shooting range and a sports ground, a great help came from the graduates of the school in the framework of the project “Help Your School”.

– Special thanks to our school graduate, first Deputy Defense Minister David Tonoyan, with his assistance we have a shooting range, a sports ground. Support of RA Defense Minister’s adviser, Lieutenant General Muraz Sargsyan is also invaluable.

Cooperation of the school with the army also praised Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan – in connection with the Day of the teacher Anahit Khosrovyan was awarded the medal “Andranik Ozanyan.”

The school holds periodic meetings with veterans of the Great Patriotic War, alumni-participants of Artsakh war, anniversaries, days of remembrance are also celebrated.

– Electronic shooting ground promotes military-patriotic education, – says director Khosrovyan. – At the end of the 2014-2015 academic year our students were awarded letters of thanks by the peacekeeping battalion which is cooperating with us, even girls were awarded for the best results in fire training. It is desirable that in the graduating classes there were more practical trainings, however – in the real conditions, not in the classroom.
