In the near future TV channel “Shant” will present a new project – “On the border” to the audience. What is it about? What is the difference with other TV series? How the shooting is going on?

The idea of such a film has emerged long time back. We have always followed the situation on the border. We are very glad that with the assistance of the Ministry of Defence were able to make a reality of our long-cherished dream.

We had a great desire to present the difficult situation on the border, the people who are on the border. As for the script, it is not based on real events, but many scenes are taken from them. The 16th part of the film is devoted entirely to perished at the border hero-soldier Azat Asoyan, his feat.

This project is completely different from other series: here is a different format, a different approach. We can say, mostly it is a multi-part feature film. This is the first series in Armenia on military-patriotic themes. Gisaneh Poghosyan has written a soundtrack specially for the movie. The film stars two generations of artists: Rudolf Ghevondyan, Sargis Grigoryan, Armen Soghoyan, Ashot Ter-Matevosyan, Rosie Avetisova etc.

Especially I want to thank the Defense Ministry for its huge assistance – starting from the military and ending with the Minister. The Minister provided us with military advisers that everything was presented correctly. I want to thank also the inhabitants of the areas where we were doing shootings.
