“IN THE STRUGGLE AGAINST NAZISM, WE WERE TOGETHER”: INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION



On April 28, 2015, in Moscow, in the Gallery of the RF Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War, opened an international exhibition on the theme “In the struggle against Nazism, we were together,” which will last until the end of October.

Organizers of the exposition are: RF Council of Federation, State Duma, ministries of foreign affairs, defense and culture, CIS Executive Committee, International Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS member states, Russian military and historical society, Russian Federation Commanders Club. The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The Armenian side was represented by the Ministry of Defense, Military Museum of the RA Defense Ministry “Mother Armenia”, Armenian Embassy in Russia.

The main objectives of the exhibition are as follows: 1. Mark the unity and friendship of the CIS countries, as an important source of victory in the war. 2. Show courage and heroism of the peoples of the CIS countries and their contribution to achieving the overall victory, 3. To emphasize the solidarity of international relations of the CIS countries during the war. 4. Show the positive example of the construction of the interstate relations of the CIS countries, based on the historical experience of the war.

Preparation, design and organization of the national exposition of the Republic of Armenia was entrusted to the RA Defense Ministry Military Museum “Mother Armenia”.

In the hall of Armenia there are presented: portraits of prominent Marshals Baghramyan, Khanperyants, Aganov, Admiral Isakov, sculptures and monuments, military uniforms, personal items, stamps, archival materials, etc.
