ARMENIAN BENEFACTORS FROM DIASPORA AGAIN MADE A GIFT

With the assistance of philanthropists from the Diaspora, RA armed forces received 8 German shepherds to help protecting the safety of the north-eastern parts of the country. At our borders we already have 10 purebred shepherds – border guards.

From the first day the puppies became the pride of the military unit, inspiring both soldiers and officers. This valuable gift brought member of the Volunteer Union Yerkrapah, participant of the Artsakh war Hovhannes Nikoghosyan.

– For those who are on duty on the border, the best gift may be well trained dog-guards, who will be able to identify any enemy saboteur. Today, in many Western countries the military dogs help in securing the border, in the fight against drug trafficking, and it is welcome that the Armenian army had professional dogs. We are grateful to our friends for such assistance, – said H.Nikogosyan.

– German Shepherd is very smart and well prepared for the protection of the territory. They do not need special training. These animals are not picky in the matter of food. And thoroughbred is also important, – continued H.Nikogosyan and expressed hope that such donations to strengthen the fighting capacity of the Armenian army will have a lasting character.
