We talk to Recruitment unit Head Captain Armen Haroutyunyan.

– How do you prepare for the call-up?

– Community leaders bring ascribed lists of recruits. Of course, rectification of lists is very important, however it is not final, since after that a person can change his location, leave the country, etc. We are worried about the recruits’ health. Many have problems with heart, spine, chest. And we have to send everybody to the capital for examination in specialized medical institutions. We are satisfied with the medical commission’s work. There are experienced specialists there and do their work scrupulously. Many guys come to know about their illness in the recruitment office.

– How many people are willing to enter contract service?

– Many people want, and the vacancies replenish immediately. A month ago military training gathering was held in our district under the command of the General military inspection. The result was quite high – 100% participation of people and arms. This showed once more that our people always are ready to defend the Homeland.
