Engineer-sapper troops can have invaluable, even crucial impact during military actions. Engineer troops’ significance is indispensable especially in mountain regions both during defense and offensive combat.
Deputy Head of AF Engineer Troops Department Colonel Hakob Harutyunyan says:

– Every year we realize road-, bridge-building programs, continue transfer and location of reliable and safe constructions. Last year we built a high-class road in one of the regions which has a strategically important meaning.

– It’s not a secret that sapper arms permanently improve. Could the enemy cheat us?

– I think – not, since our technology corresponds with today’s international standards.

– Do you cooperate with our domestic scientific, production organizations?

– When I say that the planned issues should be resolved in the near future, I mean the majority of them will be put into practice by our science and production, and we have already serious success. We produce means essential for the arm which are interesting even to our Russian colleagues.
