When Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan visited the eastern regiment, he met also with the people and authorities of the community. Being the community head, I raised a few issues.

Our village Vahan is a bordering frontier village and has a heroic biography. It resisted heroically during the Artsakh war. However now our main task is to leave our youth in the village, don’t hamper our eastern borders of young and strong hands. It is evident that in frontier villages the people should stay, live and work for the security of our country, defense of our borders. It is said very correctly, if the rear is strong, the soldier standing on the border fells more confidently.
Naturally the Minister knows this very well. He not only listened to us but also undertook practical steps. Firstly the issue of street lighting of the whole village was settled, which was not resolved more than 20 years. Secondly, a comfortable sports-playing grounds was constructed where children play and youth pass time.
