CSTO: JOINT STRUGGLE AGAINST GLOBAL EXTREMISM

New wars in the world happen because of energy-carriers (petrol, gas). Now global conflict happens for “human souls”.

On September 30 during Yerevan-Moscow TV-bridge Gagick Harutyunyan, executive director of “Noravanq” scientific-educational fund mentioned that it is not about war between Christian and Muslim world but multi-civilized world and global extremism. The latter has no religion, no nationality, it is a single organism which feeds not only from Arab world but from the West as well. “And against it should struggle all, including such organizations as CSTO”, – said G.Harutyunyan.

The main function of CSTO is to ensure security of member-states, and in this regard it is very important to improve the management of collective forces. During the 2nd strategic forum “Security policy ways in the sphere of CSTO collective forces management” this issue was also discussed. Head of RA MoD National strategic studies institute Major General Hayk Kotanjyan mentioned that collective aviation forces creation idea has been also discussed.
