ON DEFENSE ARMY FRONT LINE

On regiment Commander Colonel S.Grigoryan’s car we move to the front line. The car is full of soft drinks.

-I can’t go there empty-handed, it’s become a habit, – says the Colonel.

There are defensive installations everywhere.

-Are they shooting?

-Every day and a lot. We request our soldiers to maintain service discipline, resist provocations, not to shoot if not necessary, – explains regiment Commandeer.

At one of the stations battalion Commander meets the Colonel and reports on the situation. In the meanwhile we talk to the servicemen. Sergeant Armen Dadyan was in the station, the others – senior telephonist Abgar Kesoyan, driver of material support platoon corporal Lyova Lobyan, rifleman Grigor Asatryan and Ashot Davoyan, Vanik Melkonyan, Garik Poghosyan, Edik Avagyan and some contract-servicemen were having rest. The guys showed us their living conditions, armoury, rest zone, treated us with coffee…

– We have no problem with service organization. The officers are with us, they watch over us that we do everything correctly, do not act willfully, do not go far from the territory, do not come out from the trench, – says Grigor Asatryan.

– Shooting from cover the enemy considers himself brave but in reality he is a coward. If we are allowed we also can shoot every day and of course better than they, – added Ashot Davoyan.
